Note: When connected to an external device, the PocketDISH uses more power than normal. Always keep the PocketDISH connected to a power source to prevent unwanted shutdowns.

Turn on your DVR and PocketDISH.

Connect the PocketDISH to the DVR using the USB cable included with your PocketDISH (note: PocketDISH buttons are disabled when connected to a DVR).

Once connected, the menus on the screen will guide you through the transfer of content stored on your DVR. You can also manage the content of your PocketDISH via the receiver. |
Using your remote control select YES. |  | | | |
Select PocketDISH. | | | | |
Select Send to Device. |  | | | |
You will see a list of recorded programs available for transfer. Using the arrow keys and select on your remote control, highlight the programs you wish to transfer and select Send Video to copy the programs to your PocketDISH.
Note: this process does not remove the programs from your DVR.

Once the transfer is complete select DONE and disconnect the cable from the PocketDISH and the DVR. Once disconnected the PocketDISH will update the files and your programs can be found under the Video icon, in the DISH Network folder. |  |
